Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225 g) pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Allow the mixture to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
