Ingredients:

- 8 oz (225 g) pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cups sliced mushrooms
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until they are golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Let it simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat it in the creamy sauce.
7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
