Ingredients:

- 12 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 16 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes, until they are golden brown and tender.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss until the pasta is coated in the creamy sauce.
7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh chopped parsley.
