Ingredients:
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are soft and browned, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss until well coated in the creamy sauce.
7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
