Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225g) fettuccine or pasta of choice - 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz (225g) mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. 2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Stir in the sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and become golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
5. Reduce the heat and pour in the heavy cream. Stir well to combine.
6. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and mix until melted and smooth.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet and mix until well coated in the creamy sauce.
