Ingredients:
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are browned and tender, about 5-7 minutes.
5. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream. Allow it to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
6. Mix in the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and well combined.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Toss the cooked fettuccine in the sauce until well coated.
9. Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
