Ingredients:
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until they are golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to low.
5. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and the sauce is creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Toss the cooked fettuccine in the sauce until well coated.
7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
