Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225g) pasta (fettuccine or spaghetti)- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cups sliced mushrooms (button or cremini)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they are golden brown and softened, about 5-7 minutes.
3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined.
5. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated in the creamy sauce.
7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
