Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225 g) spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 16 oz (450 g) mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are tender and golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy mushroom sauce.
7. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
