Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225 g) pasta of your choice
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms and sauté until they are browned and tender, about 5-7 minutes.
3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
4. Pour in the heavy cream, then add dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine and let the mixture simmer for about 3-4 minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly.
5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce.
6. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and mix well. Cook for another minute until the cheese is melted.
7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
