Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225 g) pasta of your choice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz (225 g) mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until they are softened and slightly browned.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir well. Allow it to simmer for 3-4 minutes until it thickens slightly.
5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine. Stir in the grated parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
