Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225g) pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz (225g) mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
3. Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir well. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper. Mix until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
