Ingredients:
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until they are golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Let the mixture simmer for about 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and mix well until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta evenly in the sauce.
7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
