Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225g) pasta of your choice (fettuccine, penne, etc.)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz (225g) mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are soft and browned, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Allow it to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss gently to coat the pasta in the creamy sauce.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
