Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225g) pasta of your choice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz (225g) mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, until they are browned and tender.
4. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Allow it to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
5. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Toss the cooked pasta in the skillet with the creamy mushroom sauce until well coated.
7. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
