- 8 oz spaghetti or linguine
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 12 oz mushrooms, sliced (button or cremini)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti or linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat.
3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they are golden brown and tender, about 5-7 minutes.
