Ingredients:
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta - 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 16 oz mushrooms, sliced (button or cremini)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside. 2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
3. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until they are soft and browned, about 5-7 minutes.
5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
6. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated in the creamy sauce.
9. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
