Ingredients:
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta - 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. 2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until they are golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated parmesan cheese and mix until melted and creamy.
