Ingredients:
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are tender and golden.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta with the creamy sauce.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
