Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225g) pasta (fettuccine or linguine)
- 2 cups fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.
3. Add sliced mushrooms and sauté until they are golden brown and tender, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat in the creamy sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
