Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225 g) pasta of your choice
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz (225 g) mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are tender and browned, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine with the creamy mushroom sauce.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.
