Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225g) fettuccine or pasta of choice - 2 cups mushrooms, sliced (button or cremini)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside. 2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until they are golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
