Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225g) pasta (such as fettuccine or spaghetti)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz (225g) mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are tender and golden, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Reduce heat to low and pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine with the mushrooms and garlic.
