Ingredients:

- 8 oz (225 g) pasta (fettuccine or spaghetti)
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are golden brown.
3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes until it thickens slightly.
5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat with the creamy sauce.
6. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.
