Ingredients:
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta - 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. 2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy sauce.
6. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
