Ingredients:
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta - 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside. 2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes, or until they are tender and golden brown.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta in the sauce.
7. Serve hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
