Ingredients:
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until they are golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and mix until the sauce is smooth.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss until the pasta is well coated with the creamy sauce.
