Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225g) pasta of your choice (fettuccine or penne)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz (225g) mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
3. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are soft and browned, about 5-7 minutes.
5. Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the Italian seasoning. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
6. Season with salt and pepper, then stir in the cooked pasta until well combined.
7. Remove from heat and mix in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
