- 8 oz (225g) pasta (fettuccine or spaghetti)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they are golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute, until fragrant.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Allow it to cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
