Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225g) pasta of your choice - 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. 2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms and sauté until they are golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and continue stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated in the creamy mushroom sauce.
