Ingredients:
- 250g pasta of your choice
- 200g mushrooms, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are softened and golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until the pasta is well coated with the creamy sauce.
7. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
