Ingredients:
- 8 ounces of pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces of mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are tender and browned, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine.
5. Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce.
8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh chopped parsley.
