Ingredients:
- 300g fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 250g mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender and lightly browned.
4. Reduce the heat and pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss until well coated in the sauce.
7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
