Ingredients:

- 8 oz (225 g) fettuccine or spaghetti
- 2 cups fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions:

1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until softened and golden brown.
3. Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and add dried thyme. Stir well and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated in the creamy mushroom sauce.
