Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225g) pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until they are golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and fully combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
