Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225 g) pasta (fettuccine or penne)
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms and sauté until they are golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
4. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Let the mixture simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
