Ingredients:
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are tender and golden, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Reduce heat to low and pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine.
5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat in the creamy sauce.
