Ingredients:
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cups sliced mushrooms
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
3. Add sliced mushrooms and sauté until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Stir in minced garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
6. Add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and creamy.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Toss the cooked fettuccine in the mushroom sauce until well coated.
