Ingredients:
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until they are tender and lightly browned.
5. Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream, stirring well.
6. Mix in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss until the pasta is well coated with the sauce.
9. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
