Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225g) spaghetti or fettuccine
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz (225g) mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti or fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes until they are golden brown and tender.
4. Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream. Stir well and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
5. Mix in the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
