- 8 oz (225 g) pasta of your choice
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz (225 g) mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until they are tender and browned.
4. Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream. Stir well to combine.
5. Add the grated Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper. Stir until the cheese has melted and the sauce is creamy.
6. Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet, ensuring it's well coated with the sauce.
