Ingredients:
- 12 oz spaghetti
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- Grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add the halved cherry tomatoes, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the tomatoes begin to soften.
4. Toss the cooked spaghetti into the skillet with the tomato mixture. Stir in the chopped basil and mix until well combined.
5. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese and additional basil if desired.
