Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 2 cups ripe cherry tomatoes, halved
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the tomatoes soften and release their juices.
4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to combine, allowing the pasta to soak up the tomato mixture.
6. Stir in the chopped basil and mix well.
7. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
