Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 12 oz spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions:
1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Stir in the diced tomatoes and oregano. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes, allowing the sauce to simmer.
4. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to combine with the sauce.
5. Remove from heat and stir in the fresh basil.
6. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
