*Delicious spaghetti tossed in a fresh tomato and basil sauce, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner. Serves 4. Preparation time: 30 minutes.*

Ingredients:

- 12 oz spaghetti
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups ripe tomatoes, chopped
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions:

1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add the chopped tomatoes to the skillet. Cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the tomatoes are softened and saucy.
4. Stir in the chopped basil and season with salt and pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
5. Toss the cooked spaghetti into the skillet with the tomato sauce, mixing well to coat the pasta evenly.
6. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese and extra basil if desired.
