Ingredients:
- 12 oz spaghetti
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
3. Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet, season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the tomatoes are soft and juicy.
4. Stir in the cooked spaghetti and toss to combine, allowing the pasta to soak up the flavors.
5. Remove from heat and mix in the chopped basil and grated Parmesan cheese.
6. Serve immediately, garnished with additional basil and cheese if desired.
