A simple and delicious pasta dish featuring fresh tomatoes and basil.

Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 12 oz spaghetti
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add the halved cherry tomatoes and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the tomatoes soften and release their juices.
4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to combine with the tomato mixture.
6. Remove from heat and stir in the torn basil leaves.
7. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
