Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
3. Add the halved cherry tomatoes and cook until they begin to soften, about 3-4 minutes.
4. Stir in the cooked spaghetti and reserved pasta water. Mix well to combine.
5. Add the chopped basil, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and black pepper. Toss everything together until well combined.
6. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
