Ingredients:
- 12 oz spaghetti
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until the tomatoes are soft and start to burst.
4. Season the tomato mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
5. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to combine, allowing the pasta to soak up the flavors.
6. Remove from heat and stir in the fresh basil.
