Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 400g canned diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions in a pot of boiling salted water. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Pour in the canned diced tomatoes along with the oregano. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 5-7 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.
4. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet, tossing to combine with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
5. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves and grated Parmesan cheese.
